Our History
Unylaser Metal Products and Components was founded in 2003, basing its business on providing thermal cutting and bending services. During its first 7 years of life, the company solidified its performance in the market by delivering services with high quality, timely delivery, and reliability.
As part of its strategic expansion plan, the company expanded its manufacturing facilities by adding new equipment and operations, always guided by a focus on technology and innovative solutions. As of 2010, realizing the great potential and production capacity existing in the company, Unylaser repositioned its business vision, starting to supply ready-made components with high added value, serving the segments of cranes, agriculture, trailers, among others.
As one of the companies of the PCP Steel Group and taking advantage of the existing partnership between PCP and a Finnish plant, specialist in the manufacture of high strength steels, Unylaser has become one of the metal manufacturing centers with the highest specialization level in the manufacture of parts made from high and ultra high strength steels, being now considered a national reference in this segment. Today, the PCP Steel Group has a solid partnership with Usiminas, a leading company in the segment in Latin America.

Unylaser has been ISO 9001 certified since 2006, in the following scope: “DESIGN AND MANUFACTURE OF METALLIC PRODUCTS AND COMPONENTS, THROUGH THE SUPPLY OF MEDIUM-SIZED AND LARGE-SIZED PIECES APPLIED TO DIFFERENT MARKETS.”
It has a fully equipped metrology laboratory to ensure compliance with all customer specifications. The team of professionals uses established methodologies for measuring results and monitoring processes, such as:

- 100% inspection and flying inspections

Ainda sobre o Dia do Trabalhador, aproveitamos para apresentar mais um colaborador do time PCP. Desta vez, um dos mais jovens da equipe.
O Leonardo, ou Leo, começou como Jovem Aprendiz ainda no final de 2019, e em 2020 conciliou o trabalho na empresa com o último ano do Ensino Médio.
Nas palavras do próprio Leo, o primeiro emprego é um “mar de emoções”, pois tudo é novidade. Mas ele se sentiu muito bem recebido pela equipe do PCP (Planejamento e Controle da Produção) da Unylaser, e contou que a cada dia tem um novo aprendizado. Ele também se sente agradecido pela convivência com os colegas mais experientes e por serem muito prestativos.
